Using it daily on my golden/Chow Chow mix and it feels easy to hold and sturdy. Painlessly gets out any matting. The Edges are nicely rounded and don't hurt. He follows me around any time this comb is in my hand.
Yep. A Brittany and a Field Springer. The Springer, especially, gets horrible matts in his ear fur (top and underneath). The Brittany isn't as bad but the under ear fur does get tangled up at times. My vet recommended I buy stainless steel combs to work on the matts. She was right. They help a great deal by loosening the matted fur. Thanks for a really good product at an affordable price.
2 sizes are included so on the thickest parts of her hair, the bigger comb glides through without any problems. On the thinner hair like the belly, the smaller comb worked great. They were very helpful in grooming my scottie and saved a lot of time. She doesn't really like to be brushed but didn't seem to mind the combs. Price point is good. No rough spots.
This is very strong and a good purchase. Good quality.
We have a golden doodle and it works very good on her curly hair..and it doesn't pull her hair when combing...I would recommend this for dogs with curly hair..
These combs are amazing, I have a short hair and a long hair dog. Both do not seemed bothered by me using them to get burs out
Bought these for my Mom's very long furred cat. Brushes just seemed to pull and weren't getting lower layers. I use the one with longer teeth on him, and he is fully combed, smooth and glossy in no time at all with minimal fuss, cat purring and happy. Well made, heavy duty combs, feel like groomer quality
Using these to comb our Labradoodle everyday to prevents matting. Working great. Use gently because it can pull hair and hurt dog.
