I used them on both dogs for the first time tonight and all I can say is where have these been for the past 20 years. I wish I would have known about them. My big 65 lb dog kept stretching his neck and turning it from side to side so I would keep rubbing it with the gloves. He loved how it felt. His fur was pretty short he had just been groomed. My other dog his hair is pretty long he's due for grooming and it worked really well on him too. Both poodles. The medium fit well and they help create lots of Suds I didn't have to use as much shampoo as I normally use at all and I feel like the dogs are definitely cleaner then if I was just rubbing shampoo on them with my hands. No idea about their durability though since it's the first time I've used them today.
I have 4 10 yr old dogs and have done most the bathing for all that time. Really wish i had purchased these sooner, they really work well with lathering and getting hair and my dogs enjoyed the massage.
I loved that I am able to keep my hands moisturized and dry while I’m bathing my dogs. Also I must have sensory issues because I hate the feel of wet dog fur. I can get a deeper clean because of that.
I have a Havanesse that hates being bathed and his hair is super thick. These gloves made it 100000 times easier for bath time plus he’s the cleanest I’ve ever been able to get him without being professionally washed. I recommend these to anyone with animals! These are definitely worth the purchase & price!!!!
I saw these in an Instagram video and went for it. They are awesome. I use them on my long haired Shi-Tzu before, during and after a bath and it has been the most effective brush I have found. They are super helpful and he doesn’t seem to mind them as much as the regular brush. It is hard to get the hair out from the gloves but I don’t really mind.
Dogs have been a staple of my life since the day I was born…and I wish I would have bought these long ago! To start, I currently have 3 large dogs: a German shepherd, pit/lab mix, and husky/cattle dog mix. We live by the beach and are frequently in need of outdoor washings during the warmer months. It was a massive pain trying to get all 3 of these guys cleaned off after a beach visit or a hike (or any other time they just are smelly and in need haha)! Before these gloves: - 2 of my dogs are massive shedders with “longer” hair (GS and husky mix). My hands would always be COATED in hair while washing - I was going through SO MUCH shampoo that I had to resort to the generic bulk shampoo. While I’m not against generic, 1 of my dogs has sensitive skin and I do want their coats to be healthy, so I always hated having to wash them off with shampoos that weren’t better quality - Scrub time and washing the shampoo out was nearly an hour long process, particularly the long haired pups These gloves changed my life: - No more hairy hands! And when the gloves get hairy, it’s easy to wash off with the hose or let the gloves dry then just clap the hair off them - I’m saving SO MUCH on shampoo! I use 1/4 of the shampoo I did before because these gloves help lather the product up so much better! Now I can go back to the shampoos I prefer since I won’t be going through a bottle every 10 days - I don’t know about other users, but the fact that it lathers so much better so I’m not constantly reaching for more product, then I can use the gloves to scrub the shampoo out, wash time has been cut in half. So it doesn’t feel nearly as tedious or frustrating after we’re all tired from outdoor play. I bought these on a whim since I knew baths would be becoming more frequent soon. I never remotely imagined how much of a game changer they’d be in caring for my dogs! Only 1 of mine was initially cautious when seeing me wear them but he quickly realized he enjoyed the feel. The other 2 had no issues at all. Something so simple, and yet so insanely helpful for more efficient and thorough dog bath times! Side note: I only wash my dogs outside with a hose. I assume these would be just as good for indoor baths but thought it’d be important to mention. I’m also not sure how these would do on super long hair dogs like collies or newfies. My GS is considered a “short haired” shepherd. So while she has A LOT of hair and an insane undercoat (like a lab), it’s not super long. Same goes for the husky mix.
I was a bit hesitant to buy these because I wasn’t sure how my 7 month old golden doodle puppy would react but went for it and I’m so glad I did!! I let her sniff them and get use to them before her bath and she did great with them during her bath! She loved when I cleaned her face with these and that’s usually the hardest part of her baths! They help lather the shampoo very well and really help it penetrate her coat. I even used it with her conditioner and combing her out and drying her were a breeze her coat was sooo much softer. Those with a doodle know the struggle with the brushing/combing. And the little hole to hang is perfect they’re just hanging in the shower. Also my hands weren’t all pruney when I was done! I 1000% recommend these! BUY THEM!!!
I have a Newfoundland and it worked very well to get under all her coats, but i could only use one glove properly because both are right hands.
