Works as it should, but arrived broken in multiple places. It makes it difficult to actually use the handle as that broke off.
A few people gave a poor review because the handle broke. The large size is a very big board and my dog is 70 lbs so I feel like it would have to be much thicker to handle her scratching the board with me only holding the handle as she really likes to put her weight into scratching. I just hold it on the sides and don't have any issues. I like that it's long enough for her to get a good scratch in.
The wood is not super sturdy as it was broken in two spots in the handle. This is basically sanding paper glued to wood. It wasn't glued down too well on one side as you can see.
