This was recommended on a German Shepherd forum for detangling the feathers and undercoat. He is getting used to the spray, at first didn't care for it. But it really seems to work very well. Has a pleasant smell and is easy to apply.

I have a maltipoo whose hair mats easily! I spray an amount needed on the tangle, rub with my fingers and usually need to then used a comb or brush to smooth it out. So glad I found this product. No after residue. My dog enjoys the smell and flavor as she also "tries to help massage it into her hair!"
This product definitely works! I have a doodle and a poodle and I can tell the difference between brushing them without the spray vs with it. It makes the brush glide much smoother, which is amazing. I don’t really like the smell of it but that’s more of a personal preference. It’s not a gross smell, just not good.

We have 2 Great Pyrenees and their ears get matted all the time. Specifically our girl pyr! I cannot get over how great this product worked for her ears. Not just for tangles but for mats as well!
