Wow... game changer in keeping my goldendoodle coat soft and tangle free. You only need a tiny amount rubbed into the dogs coat and no tangles and super soft to the feel! Total game changer for grooming!
Live this dematted nicely! Smells good too! My new go to conditioner spray!
I have a cockapoo and have tried out a few different detangler sprays. I wanted to try the Chris Christensen after falling in love with the slicker brush & greyhound comb. This spray is magic and somehow erases the knots completely. It does not have a scent. The spray nozzle is high quality as well. My dog usually doesn’t like being sprayed, but this one does not seem to bother him. I also like that the product comes with an expiration date and is set to last 4 years (bought in 2023, expires 2027). This has made brushing way easier! Like all Chris Christensen products, this is a game changer!
Works ok for removing matting. Not as good as I thought it would be. Be careful where you spray it. Makes wood floors very slippery.
We have a rough collie who has always been a pain in the butt to brush after a bath but especially when he has his winter coat. We were having him groomed professionally but with the cost of everything skyrocketing over the last year or so it’s become inaccessible. My husband washed him with TropiClean deep cleansing shampoo, then conditioned him with the doggy version of biosilk. I tried brushing him out with afterwards to get a feel for effectiveness of the biosilk. While his coat felt conditioned, brushing him was still rough so I sprayed him down in this and went to work. It’s like magic! He always has a couple smaller mats which we scissor cut and keep it moving. This stuff, however, made it easy to brush most of them out. Mr. Chris put his whole foot in this stuff! It’s worth noting that we also use a wooden brush by him. I believe it’s the 4” pins. Our boy looks so good, I can’t wait to see how his coat looks once he’s dry.
Over my years owning Yorkshire Terriers, I've experimented with countless detangling products and grooming sprays. But the one product I always buy again and again is Chis Christensen's Ice on Ice. Unlike many coat conditioners, this spray leaves zero oil or residue behind, and hair is left wispy and weightless. Brushing is no longer a battle. And I've found it equally effective on all different coat textures--silky, cottony, and everything in between. There's no irritating fragrance, and the added SPF sunscreen also makes this product unique. Yorkie breeders, show exhibitors, and professional groomers have long recommended Chris Christensen products for healthy coats and easy grooming, and my dogs and I agree it's a splurge worth making.
Just gave a bath and used blueing shampoo and finished with ice on ice and did not rinse out. Smells good, fur is silky and the shine is so good. Her fur is all black except a few white and tan patches. The picture is normal light from a lamp and you can see how pretty her fur looks.
