OC Raw Freeze Dried Chicken & Produce 14oz
I have been trying to find something that my picky eater, mini schnauzer Bella would like and not just sniff and walkaway. The vet has prescribed her some rather expensive food but she did not like it at all and I was tired of wasting of my money. I wanted something that didn't require a prescription and was easily available. My dog loved this food right away which was a win. My only complaint was that it shipped crumbled and not in patties as advertised.
Dogs loved this! Easy to reconstitute if wanted but can also give as is for a treat.
The product arrived crumbled and powdery not cakes/Pattie’s as stated.
Great substitute for OC Raw frozen when traveling.
Since this is a dog food I really cannot attest to the flavor or ingredient quality. (I am going by a 3rd party raw dog food rating.) Since the food is dehydrated there is no "freshness". That being said, I use these dehydrated raw foods as an emergency (weather, trucking/supply, earthquake preparedness, etc.) backup. I rotate using them as a quarter or topping in my dogs' daily frozen raw food so the food does not get stale. My dogs have not complained & gobble it right up. I crumble them up, mix with warm water & let sit for an hour then put in the frig for a couple of hours or overnight.
My dog loves this food. We have tried many different freeze dried foods and this is my dog's favorite. Wish it was sold in more pet stores.
