This shaver works very well. We have 3 Shih Tzu cross Maltese dogs and our boy was badly matted and would try and bite us every time we tried to groom him. We invested in a grooming table and with that and this trimmer we were able to get all the Matts off him. The battery lasts well and the trimmers feel solid in your hand with a low vibration that did not upset the dogs. The only thing to watch out for is the blade does get hot. Overall for the price I am happy with the quality and they did a good job, they were easy to use.
*EDIT* I’ve updated my review. Since my first review customer support has reached out and replaced the clippers I had issues with. I’ve tested out the new ones and have had now issues. Now I feel comfortable updating my review to 5 stars! Original review is below. I’ve had this set of clippers for about three months now. When I first used the clippers, they were awesome. I liked the choice of high or low speed, how quiet they were, that these are cordless, and the different clipper guard lengths. My older newfoundland doesn’t stand long for grooming anymore so when we trim him up we want to work quickly. Recently the clippers have started to die, even when fully charged. I always use the clippers on clean and brushed out hair, and clean the blades regularly. They were working great, but now that they keep dying mid-cut, I’m disappointed in the purchase.

These clippers are low noise, cut great on my 75 lbs goldendoodle who had a lot of matting, and kept its charge. I still had 80% battery when I finished her. The only thing I did not like is your only choice for higher cuts is the combs - yuck! I hate comb attachments. I have groomed my own dogs for 20+ years but I am in no way an expert. Combs are something I just can’t work with. I need interchangeable blades. The only blades that are offered for this one is a replacement - the same one. Boo! So, my goldendoodle now looks like a bobble head. Teddy bear head and fluffy tail which I did with scissors and a naked body. So, if you are skilled in comb attachments or you do skin shaves on your dog, this one is for you.
I have purchased this brand before without great success with cutting my pure bred Bichon. But that was because I purchased the wrong trimmers. I didn't know about the difference in trimmers until I had to do more research. These trimmers are meant for dogs who have thick coats and very curly hair. I was extremely impressed how quick I was able to give him a haircut and it wasn't botchy. These trimmers are going to work great on my Labradoodle. Best way to use this trimmersin steps: 1. Wash the dog( use a shampoo that has conditioner in it) 2. Invest in a pet dryer/blow dry 3. Brush (invest in a detangle brush) the dog to detangle hair while blow drying. 4. Start using the trimmers. I could not believe how well this cut and if you have a dog having thick or curly hair. These work absolutely fantastic. Pet groomers have been dying off or are overbooked and usually have to wait months for a hair appointment. I did this to save me money and the hassle of waiting months for a grooming appointment. Best trimmers ever!!!
I cut my dog's hair and it had 50% left in the charge. It was so much easier to work with than my other Clippers and it didn't get as hot. It's lightweight and not as loud as my other ones. It worked great and I'm really happy I bought it. I already ordered one for my mom. It usually takes me 3 hours to cut my dog's hair and I think I was done in an hour and a half with this clipper
Poodle/Shih Tzu/ Chihuahua mix & his hair gets CRAZY! We travel w/ him a few times a month, so we don't have a normal groomer. Even though our 15 lb pup has that curly, down-like hair poodle hair, it's also long & silky in some areas ( like a Shih Tzu). PROS: 1) low sound- doesn't scare him like the nail sander. 2) many attachments for different lengths 3) Never "clogged" on us yet 4) Wireless & never needed a charge while cutting CONS: Not one yet! Now it's not a professional clipper, so we know it will wear down eventually, but cuts out mats & tangles w/ out snagging & hurting dog.
These are really good clippers for the money and hold a charge exceptionally well. They work well.
