In the last six years, my Husky's fur has been a real issue. No matter how much I brushed her, no matter how much undercoat I managed to get out, it was never enough to stop floofbunnies from accumulating and my dark clothing hasn't been safe since. Which is awful, because 99% of my wardrobe is black! At some point I just gave up and accepted my fate, since it was a useless battle... Which I started doing again about two years ago. I was able to keep it to an... Acceptable range by taking my dog to the groomer every two months or so, since grooming her at home was... Not easy and would take HOURS. Lately I'd seen advertisements for the FurMe vacuum, but I didn't want to pay almost $200 for it. Low and behold, I found this nifty little machine on Amazon. It's cheaper, it comes with more attachments, and a few other reviews have stated that they've been able to use it on their cats too. I have a siberian husky and two ragdoll cats, so I didn't need any further reason to consider it. While I haven't been able to groom my cats with it yet, it's been a godsend for the dog hair problem in my house. I can spend maybe 15~30 minutes brushing my dog and fill up the chamber twice. The suction is great; no hair goes flying everywhere, it all just goes into the vacuum. It's easy to empty and cleanup after. It even has an attachment for cleaning up your CLOTHES afterwards and it works very well! I'm trying to get my girls' nails down to a point where they'll fit on the grinder attachment, but I'm excited to be able to use it. When I grind her nails, the dust gets everywhere. But til then, having this little thing nearby has been helpful and really minimizes the mess. There probably won't be any once I'm able to actually use its grinder attachment. It's not too big, not too small. It's easy to setup and clean. And it's easy to store. Honestly? I wish I'd bought it sooner, I could've saved a lot of clothes from floof-death.
It was easy to put together. I clipped 2 dogs the first day as soon as we put it together. We have 7 more to do. Both had been bathed a week ago, but are inside dogs, and I did not worry about sand granules dulling the clippers. It was quiet enough that the dogs were not afraid. My daughter held the dog in her lap as I slid the cutter up and down the dog's sides and legs. The vacuum sucked up all the clippings and there was no mess. We used different size guards for different areas. Changing them was very easy. I'm sure with a little more practice we will be ready to enter beauty contests. The small foot grooming clipper works great . My puppy no longer slides on the tile floors.
I bought this to use on my Siberian Husky for brushing and nail grinding. This is super easy to use and worked great for brushing and deshedding my husky. I love how easy it is to use the brushes and empty the container when full. The best advantage with this vacuum brush is all the hair gets sucked up into the vacuum and is not flying around compared to a regular brush. Usually I have so many fluffy hairs everywhere that are impossible to pick up, but with this vacuum all the hair is sucked up right away into the canister. The bucket comes right off to empty. The nail grinder works great and is very easy to use. All the other attachments are nice to have, I use the duster brush on my couch and clothes which works great for getting loose hairs off stuff. I am so happy I bought this and it has made brushing my dog 10x better. I also use the vacuum to clean furniture, clothes, dust and corners.
I have 5 dogs and a cat. 3 of the dogs get their hair trimmed and they all have different hair texture therefore I had 3 different types of clippers. Never could find one clipper for all 3 till now. One of them is difficult because he hates the noise the clippers make. But he was so happy with the sound the vacuum air flow. Easiest hair cut I ever did. The other animals shed. The grooming tool for brushing and shedding is amazing. I’ve was using the gloves which I hated putting on and cleaning g the hair out of. This grooming vacuum has made that chore much easier too. The dogs love it but the cat is still getting use to it. The item is lite weight and so easy to use. I have replaced my lint rollers and the frustration of tearing off the sticky layers. This item works better than the rollers and I even do a quick vacuum on the bed. Being a pet mom just got easier. Love love love this pet grooming vacuum
My Yorkiepoo required grooming a few times a month during the summer months. A girlfriend recommended this Pet Groomer and at $80+ per grooming, I figured it would pay for itself in 2 uses. I had never cut his hair before but this tool makes it very easy. Notice the hair in the cylinder. There was no hairy mess to cleanup after as the suction captured his fine hair as I was cutting. There are several attachments with this kit including one for the ears and a grinder for the nails. Suggestions: Start cutting slowly and follow the direction of your pets hair. Use caution when grinding the nails and be gentle. You don't want the grinder to get too hot or touch your pets flesh. Overall, this is an excellent groomer and I highly recommend it if you're a novice groomer like myself and want to save money.
