This worked really well for trimming our dog's nails. I like that this holder has the straps go over a bar, that seems much safer than having to hook straps to something. The material seems very durable. Only con is the nail clippers that come with it seem poor quality, they felt so cheap I didn't even feel comfortable using them.
Good product we got 3 sizes and they've worked with every dog
It’s easy to set up, and works well for fidgety dogs.
The small was a little bit large for my 20lb stocky shih tzu mix, but it seems like it works just fine. I bought a pullup bar that goes in a door frame to use with it. She seemed pretty comfortable and it didn't seem like any of her legs were asleep when I took her down. I was able to grind her nails without her wiggling around and it made it super easy. I would recommend.
I order the xsmall for my dogs weighing 4-7pounds and the hammock is huge. It would work for dogs weighing 10 pounds. I kept it because I have bigger dogs I work with, but it is really to big for xsm. Maybe a packaging mistake? Who knows, but the label said xsmall. I did like it came with a nail trimmer , file and rubber brush. The hammock is good quality and pretty in purple
It works perfectly for grooming my dogs feet. She fits in the hammock just right.
Ripped in one spot first use
Size: XS fits perfectly for both my 7 lb and 14 lb dogs Safety: 2 straps ensure that the dog cannot escape, which is important considering the dog is hanging above ground Ease of use: Easy to use if dog is below 15lb. Used a well-secured wardrobe wire shelf. Attach the 2 carabiners first. Make sure the side that opens faces you. Hang a hanging strap on each carabiner but make sure to leave it open (attach only one end of the hanging straps). Put the dog in the hammock and secure by closing and tightening the attached straps. Lift the hammock with the dog (use handles to do so) and hang front then back (put hanging strap through handles and attach the other side of the hanging strap to the carabiner). Comfort: Dog won't be able to move much. May be scary but seems comfortable. Regardless of whether the dog is patient or whole-heartedly hates trimming nails (I have one of each...), this hammock gives easy access to all paws (no pulling them away or worse). Less stress (for dog and human) - less time - huge improvement for all of us.
