I can't vouch for the flavor, of course, but my three dogs seem to like it and one is pretty picky. My dogs have healthy skin, teeth, and coat, which shines. I know they get adequate nutrition from this product based on their energy levels and their overall healthy appearance. I do dislike that the product has gone up so much in price over time, which accounts for one less star than I would normally give. I don't like when cost jumps significantly on a product my family has grown accustomed to.
My 4 of 5 were eating Nutrena but it became SO hard to find! So, this had good reviews on dogfoodadvisor.com and I asked my Vet and he agreed, so we decided to try it. Aside from 1 shipment getting torn up, it's been pretty good. Dogs are happy, momma happy, Vet happy :)
I have a new dog and this food was recommended to me by someone who has had many working dogs. My dog immediately liked the food and continues to eat it well. She never leaves any in the bowl.
As long as my doggos like it that's what really counts and they like it! Will buy again.
I purchased this for my pup who has severe allergies to oats, flaxseed, and peas, which seems to be in most dogs foods. She’s a finicky girl, but this brand became a winner for her.
I was looking for a good quality dog food that did not cost an arm and a leg. When I found this one I got what I was looking for. It has quality ingredients and my vet says it looks to be a very good dog food. The most important thing however is that my dog loves it. The only thing that could be better is if he preferred it over people food. I have resigned myself to the fact that there is no such dog food. My dog does however readily eat this food and appears to enjoy it a great deal. We feed him according to the package guidelines and my dog is healthy and is not gaining or losing weight and the vet says he is very healthy. Therefore, I give this food 5-stars.
Good firm poops always. I like that it comes in a thirty pound bag. 40 pounds is too heavy for me.
This is the only brand I will buy now. It's healthy for your dogs. It's next to being the cheapest if your on a budget. And it's for all ages
