My Chi pup was extremely nervous and squirming just wetting down. Noticed significant calming once I starting massaging great smelling shampoo in. I think it calmed me a bit too. Rinsed out great and she is so soft. This is best pet shampoo I ever used. Try it.
I hate normal medicine smelling dog shampoos and was so excited to find this. This smells like the Aveeno lavender body wash I use for myself. I have a rescue Yorkie that is terrified of everything and she loves bath time now. It lathers easy so the job moves faster and rinsed easy. Her hair has a beautiful shine to it after bath and she smells good for a couple of days. She actually lays down in the bath when I’m scrubbing her. I do not use on her face though. I got some near her eyes and she kept rubbing them after so be careful of that. I will be a regular customer
I have a Great Dane who gets stinky quick and has very sensitive skin. Works great, smells great. Her coat is shiny and soft, alleviated a lot of her scratching. Super value. Also recommend their waterless shampoo- that's actually what I came on here to buy when I saw they sold the same scent in actual shampoo. I thought it would probably be crap since it was under 10 bucks- it will be my go to forever! Spent 50 bucks on the last vet recommended shampoo and this does an even better job and smells a hundred percent better. Do yourself and your pooch a favor. I really like this product, it lathers very well, smells AMAZING when you first apply it, and it cleans the dogs up very nice! Im a dog groomer so shampoo is very important to me and i noticed that the dry time is ALOT faster after using this product so im very happy with that! My only complaint would be i wish the amazing lavender smell stayed on just as strong after the bath but unfortunately the smell gets washed away once you rinse. But overall very happy with this product
We've used this Wahl shampoo for many years on beagles, labrador retrievers and a pit bull mix. It works fine, has a pleasant odor, and does seem to irritate the dogs. Can't speak much to the conditioning or tangling qualities as these are short haired breeds, but it does get them clean! Like most dog shampoos, we tend to suds them up once, then rince, then suds them up a second time which gets a lot more lather.
This is a wonderful product for my dogs. It makes them smell so good and feel so soft. My dogs have somewhat sensitive skin, so it definitely works well with dogs with sensitive skin. Funny thing, this product was is so good that my aunt asked me what shampoo I used for my dog. 10/10 would recommend.
We have three rescue pups who get into their fair share of messes. Our pug mix, however, is ALWAYS the biggest challenge to bathe. He's the one who hates the process, manages to get filthy quickest, and smells like stinky "dog" soonest. This shampoo is a lifesaver. It gives a thorough clean, leaves all the pups' fur nice and soft, and rinses free and clear. In addition, it is gentle for my chihuahua's sensitive skin, whitening for my shiba's fur, AND keeps Mr. Stinky Pug smelling fresh for up to a WEEK afterward! I am truly impressed and now have added this as a staple to our rescue family and foster intakes.
